Mimi Takes her Adventures on the Road

Published: 2006-05-24
Mariah Carey is taking The Emancipation of Mimi on the road.

The superstar has been topping the charts, with seventeen number one singles in the United States since her debut self-titled album in 1990 including tunes like "Vision of Love", "Emotions", "Hero", "One Sweet Day", "Always Be My Baby" and "Heartbreaker".

However her two albums prior to Mimi, the soundtrack to her ill-fated semi-autobiographical movie Glitter and the follow up Charmbracelet were relatively lackluster in comparison to her past successes.

But Carey came back with her recent release The Emancipation of Mimi topping the charts and returning her to her place a top the Billboard charts.

Her supporting tour dubbed The Adventures of Mimi: The Voice, the Hits, the Tour is set to hit arenas around the continent this summer and continue into this fall.

Here are Mimi's Canadian stops:

August 13, Toronto, ON - Air Canada Centre
August 15, Montreal, QC - Bell Centre
