DD/MM/YYYY Spend Some Dates on the Road

Published: 2006-05-03
Toronto-based band DD/MM/YYYY are preparing to take their live act on the road.

The band's first album, released on We Are Busybodies, features drummer Matt King, bassist Mike Claxton, Guitarist Tomas Del Balls, and keyboardist Jordan Holmes playing on two different parts.

The first part, called The Blue Screen of Death, is described by ChartAttack as "15 minutes of art-school indie rock." The second half of the disc, The Journey To And Escape From the Fortress of The Fluffy Love Cloud, was recorded while the band was living in a big empty loft and were evicted when the city took it over. The second half sounds like nothing more than a "collection of noise and ambiance," again, according to ChartAttack.
