Yellowcard on Edgefest Lineup

Published: 2006-05-02
As Canadian music festivals begin to line themselves up for the summer, the latest fest to announce details of their revelry is Edgefest.

The July 16 festival, which is sponsored by Toronto's 102.1 The Edge radio station, will take place at the Molson Amphitheatre this year.

The main stage will be graced by established acts, and in the past has hosted Hole, Sloan, Radiohead, and the Tragically Hip. This year's main stage will play host to Florida pop-punkers Yellowcard, as well as the All-American Rejects, Hawthorne Heights, Story of the Year, and Matchbook Romance.

The "Next Big Thing" stage will play host to local bands like The Meligrove Band and Magneta Lane, to name just a few.

Tickets to the show will go on sale May 5 at 2pm through Ticketmaster. Tickets to the event, which are all general admission, will set you back $39.25. A relatively small price to pay for a day chock full of good tunes!
