MSTRKRFT Give you 'The Looks'

Published: 2006-05-01
In the grand tradition of Canadian musicians not being able to stay in only one band, Death from Above 1979's Jesse F. Keeler has joined with Al-P to form MSTRKRFT.

The electronic music duo have been keeping themselves busy lately, putting together remixes for the Metric's "Monster Hospital," the Bloc Party's "Two More Years," and Buck 65's "Kennedy Killed the Hat," to name but a few.

But now the duo, who just released their first single "Easy Love," are set to release their first LP The Looks in July, which should look a little something like this:

"Work on You"
"Easy Love"
"She's Good for Business"
"Paris"
"The Looks"
"Street Justice"
"Bodywork"
"Neon Knights"

The pair are also currently playing some shows across North America, so FYI, here's where they're headed next:

May 5 Toronto, ON - Mod Club
May 12 Montreal, QC - SAT
May 19 Toronto, ON - Spin Gallery
July 7 Toronto, ON - Harbourfront Centre
July 8 Montreal, QC - Club Soda
July 17 Halifax, NS - Evolution Cabaret
July 24 Winnipeg, MB - Pyramid Cabaret
July 26 Edmonton, AB - Starlite Room
July 29 Victoria, BC - Lucky Bar
