Kevin Max Plays 'The Imposter'

Published: 2006-03-28
Having sold over 8 million albums with dcTalk, Kevin Max initially found himself in harsh territory when expressing artistic freedom in mainstream Los Angeles. However, he has continued to expand his audience from both the church and club scene by playing with such musicians as Rich Robinson of The Black Crowes, Warren Cuccurullo of Duran Duran, and The Young Dubliners. The result is The Imposter, an alt-rock, poetically sound offering that exposes the fight between flesh and spirit.

Max recently began a residency at the legendary Viper Room, which drew capacity crowds and appearances from Christian Slater, Tom Arnold, and Gene Simmons, and even Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. The club's talent scout, Joe Rinaldi says, "Kevin Max is fast becoming the Viper Room's answer to Robbie Williams for sheer entertainment value."

Watch for the Walking the Imposter Tour this spring in which Max will be hitting 40 cities before touring overseas and making main stage festival appearances.
