New Red Hot Chili Peppers album due this May

Published: 2006-03-22
California rockers the Red Hot Chili Peppers are getting ready to drop their ninth studio record.
On May 9 Stadium Arcadium is set to hit stores. The follow-up to 2002 release By the Way will be a double CD set with 28 tracks. Instead of the usual, boring CD1 and CD2 references, one of the Chili Peppers' discs will be called Jupiter and the other Mars.
Though the CD was originally slated to have 38 tracks, the boys have trimmed it down to these tracks, which are listed in no particular order:

"Dani California"
"Snow (Hey Oh)"
"Stadium Arcadium"
"Ghost Dance"
"She's Only 18"
"Slow Cheetah"
"Torture Me"
"Animal bar"
"Especially in Michigan"
"C'mon Girl"
"Strom in a Teacup"
"Desecration Smile"
"Tell Me Baby"
"Hard to Concentrate"
"Wet Sand"
"21st Century"
"She Looks To Me"
"Make You Feel Better"
"Early Eighties"
"So Much I"
"We Believe"
"Turn It Again"
"Death of a Martian"

The first single from the album will be "Dani California" and will be available in stores and online May 1.

Also available online starting March 21 is the entire RHCP catalogue including a greatest hits package and special editions of some of their albums. These special editions of past albums will include unreleased tracks and music videos.

RHCP will be heading out on a UK tour in May and are expected to hit North America this summer.
