Mahogany Frog Announce Canadian Tour

Published: 2006-03-16
Winnipeg based psych-rockers Mahogany Frog are set to take their latest release on the road.

If you've ever wondered what psychedelic rock would be like if you removed it from the age of flower children and white rabbits and brought it into the mp3 downloading, iPod-toting world of today, then you'll definitely want to check these guys out.

The foursome started off as a Saskatoon band, but after making their first album and developing a loyal fan base in the area they decided to move on to Manitoba's urban centre, Winnipeg. Since coming together in 1998 Mohogany Frog have gone through a few lineup changes, but have managed to release four records nonetheless.

Their latest release, Mahogany Frog on Blue, was released in 2005. Now the band wants to show it off to all of their anxiously awaiting fans.

They'll kick off their tour at home, then swing on through the prairies, trek all across Ontario, and end up in Montreal.
