Pinback Returns To The Road

After spending most of last year off the road, indie rockers Pinback are now preparing for their next tour.

Since their last tour the band have acquired a new drummer in Chris Prescott and guitarist in Erick Hoversten.

The group is still touring behind their 2004 release Summer in Abaddon, but insist that they will be working on some new material when this tour wraps up. Pinback have already begun writing songs for the new record, but have yet to head into the studio. According to Billboard the new album is expected to be out around the spring of 2007.

The band is hitting the road for about a month starting April 20 in their home state of California. The tour is set to wrap up in Carrboro, NC on May 13.

Here are the few stops they'll make in Canada:

April 24, Vancouver, BC - Plaza Club
May 4, Toronto, ON - Lee's Palace
May 5, Montreal, QC - Plaza St. Hubert
