Canadian musicians and other celebrities are getting together to raise money for children's hospitals by covering your brand new gaming console.
"Celebrity Faces" is the new fundraising campaign for Children's Miracle Network, a charity that gives money to children's hospitals. Celebrities create personalized, one-of-a-kind faceplates for the new Xbox 360. These faceplates will then go up for auction on eBay from March 17-27 and all proceeds will go to Children's Miracle Network.
Celebrities participating in the campaign include musicians like K-Os, Finger 11, Simple Plan, and Barenaked Ladies, as well as other celebrities like actor Shawn Ashmore and NHL players Martin Bordeur and Tie Domi, to name just a few.
If you want to know who else has designed a faceplate for auction, or you want to have a look at the faceplates before placing your bid, check them out at http://www.xbox.com/en-CA/faces/. The faceplates will also be shown live at Yorkdale Shopping Centre from March 16-19 or at Sherway Gardens from March 23-26.
