This summer music festivals are taking place all over the world, from SXSW, Coachella and Bonnaroo in the US, to T in the Park, Glastonbury and the V Festival in the UK. Bands from far and wide are coming together for huge music gatherings, but unless you're lucky enough to live nearby one of the sites hosting these festivals, attending might not be a realistic option. After all, not everyone can hop a plane and head out to see their favourite bands. Luckily there's one summer festival that understands this dilemma, and it's making a point to come to you.
The Vans Warped Festival has everything that all the other fests boast about - dozens of bands, from big headliners to smaller up and coming acts, a variety of stages, and tons of fans. Possibly the only difference is that this festival travels.
So far the tour boasts over sixty bands, including Canada's own Alexisonfire and Billy Talent. Less Than Jake, AFI, Bouncing Souls, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, and Motion City Soundtrack are just some of the other acts gracing the Vans Warped Tour stages.
