Post punk, hardcore band Thursday is touring with a purpose.
The emo band from New Brunswick, New Jersey is heading out on the Taste of Chaos tour officially sponsored by Shirts for a Cure to support their newest album A City by the Light Divided.
Shirts for a Cure project raises funds through sales of specific band t-shirts for the Syrentha J. Savio Endowment. According to their website the endowment, "provides financial assistance to underprivileged women who cannot afford expensive breast cancer medicine and therapy." Check them out at http://www.shirtsforacure.com/.
Though the tour will feature Thursday, Deftones, Thrice, Silverstein, and As I lay Dying, they aren't the only bands who support the cause. Groups like My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy and Funeral For A Friend all have shirts you can buy to support the cause.
