Juno Nominees

Nominees have been announced for Canada's top music prize.

Nickelback leads the pack with the Alberta rockers taking six nominations including top group and best album categories.

Jazz singer Diana Krall and crooner Michael Bubl╚ are each nominated for five awards.

The Juno festivities will take place over three days from March 31 - April 2. Activities on Friday include the Juno cup, a hockey game between NHL greats and Canadian musicians to support MusiCan, a music education program from the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences' as well as JunoFest performances by Canadian artists in local venues. Juno Fest performances will continue Saturday evening, as well as Juno Fan fare where fans will be able to snag autographs from their favourite Juno nominees. Sunday night the Juno weekend will wrap up with the big awards show.

The show will feature performances by a slew of Canadian talent like Nickelback, Bryan Adams, Bedouin Soundclash, Broken Social Scene, Michael Bubl╚ and UK rockers Coldplay.
