Texan indie pop group Eisley is heading out on the road behind its first full-length album.
The band came out with its first EP in 2003. The personnel have known each other their whole lives, because all five members of Eisley are related. Sisters Sherri, Stacy, and Chauntelle Dupree, brother Weston, and cousin Garron DuPree make up the band. Originally, the Dupree siblings' neighbour and friend Jonathan Wilson played bass in the band, but he left in 2001 and was replaced by Garron.
Musically, the Duprees have a mellow, pop sound that has won them opening slots for bands like Coldplay, Hot Hot Heat, Snow Patrol, and Switchfoot.
The tour is in support of their first full-length album, 2005's Room Noises. Eisley previously released a couple of EPs, Laughing City and Marvelous Things, both in 2003.
The tour will begin in March and run until May. As soon as the band is finished up on the road it will head back into studio to record its second LP.
