Sheryl Crow Sows Seeds of 'Wildflower'

Published: 2006-02-13
Rocker chick Sheryl Crow is heading out on tour starting at the end of February.

Crow started her music career in her 30s after spending time as a music teacher in a suburb of St. Louis. After singing in some local bands on the weekends, she began to write jingles for McDonald's and Toyota commercials before starting her own musical career.

Her first album, Tuesday Night Music Club, made a huge splash in the mid 90s, winning her three Grammy Awards.

Crow is now touring behind her 2005 release, Wildflower. Her newest single from the album is a re-recorded version of the tune "Always on Your Side" as a duet with Sting.

Crow is heading out at the end of February and touring all through March across North America. Supporting her on the tour is country singer Jack Ingram.

Here's where you can catch her in Canada:

March 17, Montreal, QC - Bell Centre
March 18, London, ON - John Labatt Centre
March 19, Ottawa, ON - Scotiabank Place (formerly the Corel Centre)
