Canadian Heartthrobs Come Together in Time for Valentine's day

Published: 2006-02-09
Just in time for Valentine's Day, a romantic compilation is soaring up the Canadian charts.

From the Heart, which was released on January 31st, has recently been certified gold in Canada and is the number-two-selling record in Canada.

Part of the success of the compilation CD has to do with the single "A Night Like This" by Warner Music Canada's new artist Tomi Swick. Though the Hamilton native has yet to come out with a debut album since being signed to the record label last fall, his newest single is making its way onto radio stations across the country. Aside from "A Night Like This," you can also hear the tunes "Wait Until Morning" and "For Anyone You Love" on the EP Introducing Tomi Swick, which comes with the compilation disc.

Along with Swick, the disc features a slew of male artists who have topped the charts, like former Matchbox 20 front man Rob Thomas, whose "Ever the Same" graces the album, as well as Canadian acts Michael Bubl», Daniel Powter, and Simple Plan.

Here's the disc's complete track list:

Rob Thomas - "Ever the Same"
Michael Bubl» - "Home"
