The Rolling Stones' A Bigger Bang Tour came in second place for year ending tours. The tour sold 1.2 million tickets and grossed $162 million---and that was just the first leg of the tour. The second installment begins in Montreal on January 10, 2006.

Coming in first place was U2, which was the top selling tour of 2005, according to The Vertigo tour grossed $260 million. There was an estimate of 3 million people that came to 90 of their concerts, which were all sold out. Vertigo resumes in March with 750,000 tickets sold for shows in Mexico, Australia, and New Zealand.

The Stones' A Bigger Bang Tour resumes this summer and could be the best selling tour of all time.
