Simple Plan Brings it Loud for Upcoming tour

Published: 2005-12-21
Quebecois pop punk band Simple Plan have always done all they can to help fans and they've proved that once again on their recent Canadian tour.

The band reached out to the hearing impaired by giving them an opportunity to hear their concerts a little better. Prior to the shows hearing impaired fans were given a small wireless device about the size of an mp3 player that attached to their hearing device and patched wirelessly to the band's sound board in order to let them hear the concert.

Front man Pierre Bouvier told, "We meet them before the show, do a meet and greet, sign autographs, pictures, and they come to watch the show. And for a lot of them, it's the first time they have ever heard a live show in their life."

The band just wrapped up a Canadian tour with Hedley and will soon be heading over to the UK for more shows.
