Madonna Not Touring In Canada

As Madonna plans for her upcoming tour, it would appear that Canadians will once again be left out in the cold. At the moment Madonna is planning to stop in 32 US cities and then immediately head for Europe and Israel. The tour is set to begin on June 1. The material girl is still holding auditions for dancers to join the tour with rehearsals to begin sometime in March. Madonna or Madge as she is called in Britain makes her home in England. She was recently quoted as saying America was no place to raise children. But apparently she doesn't mind taking their money while ignoring the friendly fold of the North Country.

But here are some musicians who are coming to Toronto to entertain their Canadian fans.

Dido has added another date for her visit to the Hummingbird Centre. Fans can see the British pop star on June 8 and 9.

British teenage sensation Joss Stone will be at the Opera House on April 20. Tickets are available from Ticketmaster.

Dublin's pop band The Thrills are touring to support their debut album "So Much for the City". The Thrills will be thrilling fans at the Opera House on April 5.

For jazz fans, singer Jamie Cullum will be at Top of the Senator on March 25.

Damien Rice fans please note that there is a venue change for the Irish singer's show on April 23. The concert is now scheduled for Convocation Hall and not Trinity St. Paul as previously advertised.

Finally Juice Newton, who is famous for her hit song "Angel in the Morning, will perform two shows at Casino Rama April 16 & 17. Tickets for the show are $18 and $25 and may be purchased through Casino Rama or Ticketmaster.
