Arctic Monkeys album Hitsthe Dancefloor

Though they've already gained a growing fanbase though internet exposure, the UK group the Arctic Monkeys is only releasing their first album in January.

The highly anticipated release Whatever People Say I Am, That is What I'm Not is set to be released on January 30. The band gained popularity when their demos became available online and began to gain some media attention. In May the band released the EP Five Minutes with the Arctic Monkeys which featured the tunes, "Fake Tales of San Francisco" and "From the Ritz to the Rubble"

The upcoming album has already spawned a number one hit in the UK "I Bet You Look Good on the Dance Floor", their next single will be "When the Sun Goes Down".
