John Vanderslice free downloads

Just in time for the holiday season John Vanderslice is giving his fans a bit of a treat on his official website.

His November 5 performance at the Independent in San Francisco is available for download individually as .mp3 files or the whole shebang in a .zip file - for free.

Vanderslice was a member of the nineties alternative rock band mk Ultra until the band parted ways in 1999 and Vanderslice began his solo career whose style has been similar to that of his former band. His last studio album Pixel Revolt was released this past August.

In a statement Vanderslice says he made the concert available because "I wanted to record the last show of our 'I've Been Living in a K-Hole' US tour to document the best band I've ever had playing my songs. They are my permanent band and I'll be recording the next full-length with them this summer,"
