Janet Jacksonís New Album Nearing Completion

Published: 2005-12-12
Mariah Carey has done it, so has Madonna, so why can't Janet Jackson make her big comeback of next year? Despite her 'wardrobe malfunction' at the 2004's Superbowl Halftime Show, Janet Jackson is still forging ahead with a new album with longtime producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis in tow.

"It's a milestone year for us and for the collaboration," Jimmy Jam tells Billboard. "It will be twenty years since the release of 'Control', so there's definitely a little bit of a nod to that on the new album."

The album should be done come April or May with a new single released around late January early February. The album will be released following 2004's dismal selling album, Damita Jo, which sold only 979,000 copies in the United States. If she can rebound from her controversial halftime performance, then she can rebound from anything!

I agree that janet can come back in a big way and i am eager to see the outcome. She is a beautifully talented woman who deserves every bit of success. Damita Jo was highly underated and i know the next album will be great too.

Just like when the 'Damita Jo' CD dropped & truly thought that Janet's work didn't get enough recognition that it deserved, I will support Janet AGAIN by being one of the many TRUE fans to purchase new CD '20'that will come out in Sept. '06...Biggups to Miss Jackson!!
