After departing from The Tea Party in late October to pursue a solo career, Jeff Martin has signed a Canadian record deal through Nevada Entertainment and Koch Entertainment. This deal will help him release his new solo venture, Exile And The Kingdom. He left the Tea Party this October saying that the band's destiny had been fulfilled while on tour to promote the band's latest album The Seven Circles.
Martin's solo releas, which he's finishing up in Ireland, will be mixed at Metalworks Studio in Mississauga, Ontario in January. A single will be released sometime in January and February.
There will be a couple of tracks with more of an adult appeal, but for the most part the album will definitely be a rock album. He is also prepared to give a couple tracks that are fully arranged with drums as well. Martin's solo project, Exile and the Kingdom, is due sometime in March or April.
