Within the last 12 months producer and DJ Squeak E. Clean has been lending a hand to the next Yeah Yeah Yeahs album, called Coco Beware along with lead singer Karen O's solo project.
The new Yeah Yeah Yeah's album is a departure from 2003's Fever To Tell and is definitely going to surprise people according to producer Clean. "It's so powerful and differentÖbut it's just very emotional and full of true deep feelings," Clean tells MTV News.
As far as Karen O's side project, stay tuned for an all star cast to help her along with the album. As far as the record itself goes, it will be a radical departure from what the Yeah Yeah Yeahs have ever done.
Karen O's solo project won't be out until at least 2007 after the group tours and releases Coco Beware, which is due in March of 2006.
