Dwight Yoakam Continues to Tour

Published: 2005-12-01
The latest leg of country singer Dwight Yoakam's tour is wrapping up at the end of this week, but he's heading back out on the road in February in western Canada. Then in May, he'll pick up a couple of dates in the southern United States.

The country singer's been pumping out records since the 1980s, his most recent being 2005's Blame the Vain, which is his first with indie record label New West.

Yoakam has also dabbled in acting, showing up in films such as 2002's Panic Room with Jodie Foster, and this summer's The Wedding Crashers with Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson. He will also be in the upcoming film Banditas with Penelope Cruz and Selma Hayek.

But if you'd rather see him singing, here's where you can catch him:

February 15, Richmond, BC - River Rock Casino Resort
February 17, Prince George, BC - Prince George CN Centre
February 18, Grand Prairie, AB - Canada Games Arena
February 19, Edmonton, AB - Northern Alberta Jubilee
February 21, Red Deer, AB - Enmax Centrium Arena
February 22, Calgary, AB - Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium
February 24, Saskatoon, SK - Credit Union Centre
February 25, Regina, SK - Casino Regina
February 26, Winnipeg, MB - MTS Centre
