Canadian Urban Music Awards 2005
Two winners tied for most honours at this year's Canadian Urban Music Awards in Toronto, with k-os and Divine Brown taking home two awards a piece.
Jully Black took home Best Dance/Electronic Recording for a remix of her hit "Sweat of Your Brow," and urban director extraordinaire Mr. X took home Best Video for Keshia Chant╚'s "Does He Love Me."
Canadian Idol judge Farley Flex took home a special award for his contributions to the Canadian urban music industry.
The festivities took place over two nights in Toronto, with one show taking place November 28th at the TD Bank Tower and the second November 29th at the Kool Haus. The second show will be televised on Sun TV December 21st at 9 p.m.
The show was hosted by comedian Russell Peters, with all of the Canadian urban glitterati making appearances.
