Pink Floyd to Reunite?

Published: 2005-11-29
Pink Floyd fans were ecstatic when the band reunited for the Live 8 show in London this summer. According to bassist and songwriter Roger Waters, there may be even more to celebrate.

According to NME.com, Waters is "keen to continue working with Pink Floyd." This comes as a bit of a surprise, because Waters left the band after disagreements with David Gilmour in the 80s.

After Live 8, there was a huge revival of interest in the band, and it was rumoured that members were offered large sums of money to do a reunion tour.

Waters is currently working on "Ca Ira," an opera about the French Revolution.

Pink Floyd has been my favorite band since 1967 and so this is something I've been waiting to happen for a long time. Life is too short to hold petty grudges. I'm glad Roger Waters is starting to realize that. Their music is magic!

Let's keep our fingers crossed! Live 8 was great- but just a tease of what a complete reunion concert tour would be like!
