The Secret Machines have a secret...they have a new album coming out! Those fans of prog rock will be excited to hear that their new album will be out in March of 2006. Ten Silver Drops was recorded at Allaire Studios in Upstate New York. The new album features up to eight new songs including the brand spankin' new single, "Alone, Jealous, and Stoned".

Don't let this trio fool you. Originally from Dallas, Texas, brothers Bejamin and Brandon Curtis asked friend Josh Garza to join their band to create a three piece outfit that takes its influences from Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd with a touch of The Who.

Ten Silver Drops is the band's follow up to Now Here Is Nowhere disc. The band is scheduled to play a benefit show at New York City's Webster Hall, with donations going to the non-profit Mercy Corps. on December 1. Prepare for the band to tour again come springtime, followed by a five week stint in Europe, plus, further shows in North America in late April/early May.

I for one, am really excited for this album. I heard one of the guys say that it's going to be better than the last one and that would be hard to do. I hope "Ten Silver Drops" rules as much as the "Now Here is Nowhere" and the "EP". All I can say is, "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO COME TO MADISON!!!!"
