The Strokes will premiere new material from their upcoming disc, First Impressions Of Earth to a UK audience at ULU on November 29. The band has already played a secret gig in Sydney, Australia at the city's Gaelic Club this past week in order to promote the new album. Those in attendance included about 800 fans and music industry insiders. Also present were Noel Gallagher, lead singer of rock band Oasis.

The Strokes are a rock band who formed in New York City and gained initial success for their live shows. Along with other bands early in the millennium, The Strokes helped to launch a revival of a post-punk , "stripped-down" and raw sound, hailed in the media as the return of garage rock.

The band has already released the track listing for the new album, which will be hitting store shelves on January 2 of next year. The recording process, itself, took 12 months and now the band just wants it to be heard by the public. Their next live gig will be on MTV and it will be an invite only show on December 2. The first single, "Juicebox" should be hitting airwaves as soon as December 5.

The track listing for First Imprsessions Of Earth are as follows:

"You Only Live Once"
"Heart In A Cage"
"On the Other Side"
"Vision of Division"
"Ask Me Anything"
"Killing Lies"
"Fear of Sleep"
"Evening Sun"
"Ize of the World"
"15 Minutes"
"Red Light"
