Kylie Minogue to Tour Again

Published: 2005-11-22
Minogue is Europe's answer to Madonna and a lively stage vixen that keeps the tunes coming. She is finally back for the masses after a long hiatus due to her recovery with breast cancer and is hoping to perform again by late 2006.

Minogue is most noted for her 2001 dance pop album, Fever and her catchy up tempo single, "Can't Get You Out Of My Head". The album sold more than six million copies worldwide and the single, itself, sparked a worldwide Kylie craze. Since then she has released 2003's Body Language, which had little or no affect stateside and saw disappointing sales for the pop diva.

Minogue's Showgirls tour was suppose to kickoff in May of 2005, but due to her fight with breast cancer, it was postponed. Tickets from those postponed shows will be honored next year, but ticket holders can also collect refunds from their location of purchase.

In the meantime, Minogue will release a digital single featuring a live outtake of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and "Santa Baby" by December 25. Also, by early December, Minogue's official website will also begin selling eight live tracks you can listen to and three clips you can watch from the DVD Kylie:Showgirl-The Greatest Hits Tour".
