Silverchair reunite

Published: 2005-11-21
Three years after the release of their last studio album the critically acclaimed Diorama Silverchair is headed back into the studio.

The band broke through in 1995 with their first album Frogstamp.

Though Diorama received much success and critical acclaim and success it's full potential will never be known as the band was never able to tour behind this album due to lead singer Daniel John's illness which left him unable to lift a guitar.

Currently John's is recovered enough for the boys to head out on the road early next year to road test some of their new material.

The group reunited for a tsunami benefit concert in Sydney and then they began to discuss the possibility of recording together again.

They are getting ready to head back to the studio in May.
