Shalabi Effect is on the Road, 'Unfortunately'

Mostly instrumental post-rock group Shalabi Effect is doing some live shows to promote an album that was recorded at a live show.

According to the group's official site, Unfortunately is "a distillation of the best moments of the live recordings made at the Montreal Arts Interculturelles theatre, from May 23th to May 28th 2005."

Their third studio album, Pink Abyss, was released in January of last year and is considered to be Shalabi Effect's most pop-influenced record to date.

The foursome from Montreal, consisting of Anthony Seck, Will Eizlini, Alexandre St. Onge, and Sam Shalabi, is also hading on tour to support Unfortunately, and fortunately for you, most of the dates are in Canada:

November 17, Montreal, QC - Friendship Cove
November 18, Ottawa, ON - Avant Garde
November 19, Toronto, ON - TBA
November 20, Hamilton, ON - Casbah
