That's right, hip-hop fans. Curtis Jackson, a.k.a. 50 Cent, is coming to Canada in December for a cross-country tour (seriously÷he's playing Saint John) and, uh, maybe to get a little Christmas shopping in while he's here. Who knows?
With his first film, the autobiographical Get Rich Or Die Tryin' currently in theatres, this year's The Massacre album still riding high in the charts (along with the soundtrack to the Get Rich movie) and his very own video game Bulletproof due for release next week, 50 Cent has become a ubiquitous media presence of late÷well, more so.
And, with all that product to push, there's only one thing a man can do÷go on the road and sell, sell, sell! In Canada. In December. Maybe Paul Martin can make an appearance at one of the shows in order to appear "hip" to the "young people" just in time for the election. Here's hopin'.
Here are 50 Cent's confirmed Canadian dates:
December 3, Vancouver, BC - Pacific Coliseum
December 14, Halifax, NS - Metro Centre
December 15, Saint John, NB - Harbour Station
December 18, Quebec City, QC - Colisee Pepsi Arena
December 19, Montreal, QC - Bell Centre
December 20, Toronto, ON - Ricoh Coliseum
December 21, Ottawa, ON - Corel Centre
