New Garth Brooks Box Set

Published: 2005-11-14
Even though he retired in 2001, country star Garth Brooks is putting out his Limited Series box set on November 25th.

The set will be available only at Wal-Mart and its sister store, Sam's Club. Although the CDs will be made available exclusively through the big box stores, there has been no backlash from traditional stores as there was against artists like Alanis Morissette and Bob Dylan when they released discs exclusively through Starbucks, as of yet.

It will include three of Brooks's past albums: 1997's Sevens, 1998's Double Live, and 2001's Scarecrow. For those folks who already own all those discs, the set will also contain The Lost Sessions, consisting of eleven previously unreleased tracks, and an All Access DVD with all sorts of good DVD stuff from throughout Brooks's career.

No mention of whether Brooks's alter ego, Chris Gains, will be making an appearance on this set.
