Yellowcard Dazzles with 'Lights and Sounds'

Published: 2005-11-02
After the explosion of Yellowcard's 2003 album, Ocean Avenue, fans have been anxiously awaiting a new album by the Jacksonville, Florida, natives.

Though the album won't be hitting stores until January 24th, Lights and Sounds will be spawning its first single, the title track, later this month. "Lights and Sounds" will be released to radio on November 15th, but the video for the tune will premiere on November 7th after its corresponding episode of making the video on VH1.

The new disc is said to be a concept album about the band's distaste for L.A. and stars a protagonist named Holly Wood on a few of the tunes.

They've been testing out a few of their new tunes on the road, but you may not get to hear them anytime soon because they wrapped up the Canadian leg of their tour in September.

But here's a sneak peek at the tracks you have to look forward to on Lights and Sounds:

"Three Flights Up"
"Lights and Sounds"
"Down on My Head"
"Sure Thing Falling"
"City of Devils"
"Rough Landing, Holly"
"Two Weeks from Twenty"
"Waiting Game"
"Martin Sheen or JFK"
"Space Travel"
"Words, Hands, Hearts"
"How I Go"
