Ben Folds To Release Live DVD

Piano man Ben Folds is set to release a live DVD featuring footage from two shows he performed earlier this year with an Australian symphony orchestra. In March, Folds played a duet of shows with the Western Australia Symphony Orchestra in Perth; the resulting DVD, to be released December 6, is titled, sensibly, Ben Folds and WASO Live in Perth.

The set will feature 13 songs, covering material from throughout Folds' career, including such perennial fan favourites as "Smoke", and "Brick". The DVD will also feature behind-the-scenes footage and a brand new interview with the singer/songwriter, who now makes his home in the land down under.

Folds is currently on the road here in North America supporting his latest CD, the extremely successful Songs For Silverman, which debuted at #13 on the US charts upon its May release.
