Thirty Years of Journey and Counting

Published: 2005-10-26
Eighties rock group Journey is heading out on the road to celebrate 30 years as a band.

The band, famous for its rock ballads like "Open Arms," has gone through several changes before settling on the current lineup of Steve Augeri on lead vocals, Neal Schon on guitar, Ross Valory on bass, Jonathan Cain on keys, and Deen Castronovo on drums. Schon and Valory are the only original members of the band. The most well known lead singer of the band was Steve Perry, who led the band from 1978 till Augeri took over in 1998.

In January the group got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The latest line up just released its newest album, Generations, earlier this month. Journey will hit the road in November and will truck along until mid January with a brief stop in Canada.

Apparently, on most dates all ticket holders get a free copy of Generations. Get yours here:

November 19, London, ON - John Labatt Centre
November 20, Montreal, QC - Bell Centre
