Rosebuds on the Road Helping 'Birds' Take Flight

When couples get married, they usually decide to settle down, maybe have a few kids, and buy a house. but when Ivan Howard and Kelly Crisp tied the knot in 2001, they decided to start a band.

Indie pop duo the Rosebuds released their latest record, Birds Make Good Neighbours, on September 13th. On their official website, they say the reason that birds do indeed make good neighbours is "they are survivors and we have a lot to learn from their example. At the top of spring we had a cardinal couple making a nest on our porch and we were so proud. We bought seed, we took photos, and we watched their progress with excitement and pride."

The band's feathered neighbours eventually moved on but left no hard feelings, because the Rosebuds may catch up to their former neighbours while on the road. You can catch them too:
