Self-described "death country" specialists Elliott Brood are set to celebrate their brand new record deal with Six Shooter Records and the subsequent release of their first full-length album with a cross-country Canadian tour.
Ambassador, released October 4 in Canada, represents the first half of a two-record worldwide deal the trio signed with Six Shooter recently. The Toronto-based label will also be introducing Elliott Brood to the rest of the world, with a US release set for early 2006 and a European tour already booked for early November.
Elliott Brood formed in Windsor, ON in 2002 and have developed a reputation for being a killer live act, partly due to singer Mark Sasso's banjo playing expertise and percussionist Steve Pitkin's suitcase-based drum set (seriously).
