Beck Mixes Up 'Guero'

Published: 2005-10-20
It seems that the new trend when an album is successful is for an artist to release it again, with a few changes of course. Beck's newest release, Guero, which came out in March, is one of these albums: it's about to receive a facelift and will be back on store shelves in time to be a stocking stuffer.

On December 6th Beck will be releasing Guerolito, his newest project, which will simply be each track from his last project remixed. Boards of Canada, Octet, the Beastie Boys' Ad Rock, and the Dust Brothers' John King are all set to be part of this new album.

You can also hear Beck on a couple of charity tunes; he's featured on the satirical tune "Do They Know It's Halloween" with money going to UNICEF. He is also on the Filter Magazine/Urban Outfitters Hurricane Katrina Benefit Compilation.

Beck is currently finishing up his North American tour.

I can't wait for Beck's next album. Their others were great so I'm really psyched to find what this one's all about.
