As the second anniversary of the death of musician and songwriter Elliot Smith approaches a slew of his unreleased works have surfaced online.

Smith died on October 21, 2003 in LA from multiple stab wounds. First ruled a suicide the case of his death remains open to this day.

In 2004 his family released an album of Smith's most recent recordings which they called From a Basement on the Hill.

Recently twenty-two more tracks by Smith have been circulating online under the title From a Basement on the Hill II. It is unknown when these tracks were recorded and whether they were done during the time that other Basement on the Hill songs were recorded or prior to that.

Some of the twenty-two tracks include songs like "Georgia", "Dancing on the Highway" and "The Worst Part is Almost Over".
