Apple releases video iPod

If you're beginning to get sick of your fourth generation iPod, or the brand new Ipod Nano just isn't doing it for you, never fear the fifth generation of iPod has just been unveiled with some brand new features.

The new iPods, available in black and white boast thinner bodies and larger screens. The larger viewing areas will come in handy for the iPod's newest feature; being able to watch videos on the pint size devices.

Available in 30 and 60GB's, the prices will be between $299-$399US, about the same as the current models.

In addition to upgrading the iPods Apple will also be upgrading their selection of downloadable materials adding music videos and ABC television shows to the mix for $1.99US a pop. Over 2,000 music videos are already in their library and shows like Desperate Housewives and Lost will be available for download the day after they air on regular TV. And if you can wait that extra twenty-four hours then you can also avoid the commercials.
