John Legend Stays On The Road

Published: 2005-10-12
Soulful singer and songwriter John Legend will end 2005 the way he started it - on the road. Legend began the year by performing opening duties on Alicia Keys' North American tour dates before making solo trips to Europe, Japan and Australia. And now Legend has announced a string of US and Canadian dates that will see him playing shows up until the end of November, all, of course, in support of his debut album, Get Lifted.

Released last December, the Kanye West-produced album went Top 10 in the US in its first week of release and later spawned the hit singles "Ordinary People" and "Used To Love U". Legend, who began his recording career as a pianist on Lauryn Hill's multi-platinum smash The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, will begin his upcoming North American tour on October 21 in Trenton, NJ and will visit Canada for a duet of concerts to round out the trip.

November 26, Montreal, QC - Metropolis
November 27, Toronto, ON - Massey Hall
