OK Go Take Oh No On The Road

Published: 2005-10-04
Chicago power-pop merchants OK Go have announced a set of fall North American dates to promote their recently released sophomore album, Oh No. Currently on tour in Europe, the band will bring their bouncy alt-rock sounds back to these shores in late October for a string of headlining shows as well as performing opening duties on a few dates with Rufus Wainwright.

Released in August, Oh No is the follow-up to the band's 2002 self-titled debut and was produced by Tore Johansson (Franz Ferdinand). The Swede emphasized the need to capture a raw, live sound during recording. "You will go into a room together and you will rock," were Johansson's initial instructions to the band, according to their website. Wise words.

OK Go's North American tour will begin on October 25 in Philadelphia, with a single Canadian club date on the itinerary. Here's the lowdown:

November 7, Toronto, ON - Horseshoe Tavern
