Lineup For Neil Young's Bridge School Benefit Concert Announced

The lineup for this year's Bridge School concert, an annual benefit organized by Neil Young for children with speech and other physical impairments, has been announced and, as usual, it boasts an eclectic mix of artists.

To be held on October 29 and 30 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA, the all-acoustic concert will find Young resurrecting CSNY with his old partners David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash, while also finding time for a short solo set.

Also on the bill are Emmylou Harris, Norah Jones, Dave Matthews, Los Lobos and Bright Eyes. This concert will also surely be the only event ever to feature both rock and roll legend Jerry Lee Lewis and pop-punk posers Good Charlotte on the same bill.

Young has been recovering of late since undergoing emergency brain surgery in March, though he has made select live appearances in the interim, most notably at Farm Aid and at the Live8 concert in Barrie earlier this summer.

The Bridge School was co-founded by Young's wife Pegi in 1986. This year's concert marks the 19th outing for the annual event.
