Darkness to fall once again

London-based anthem rockers The Darkness have revealed the name of their second album as One Way Ticket to Hell...And Back.

The new album will be released in the UK on November 28, and a new single, titled simply "One Way Ticket," will hit the airwaves two weeks earlier, on November 14.

In May, the band officially announced that bassist Frankie Poullain would be leaving the band, citing only "musical differences" as the reason.

As a result, the new album will not feature any music from Poullain. In the studio, guitarist Dan Hawkins was said to have filled in for the bass tracks, and since the band has announced that Richie Edwards (Hawkins' tech) will be the band's new, permanent bass player.

Rumour has it that the band has been working on nearly 40 songs, which will have to be narrowed down to approximately 15 before the album can hit shelves.
