Kasabian DVD is on the Way

Published: 2005-09-19
Brit-rockers Kasabian have announced plans to release "Live from Brixton Academy" on DVD this November 7th.

The show, which has been available as a digital-only audio LP since July, will be presented in 5.1 surround sound. It will also feature "Expanding the Empire," a short film documenting the band's Japanese tour and first trip to America.

Many fans of the band consider the Brixton gig - filmed on December 15, 2004 - to be one of their finest. Not only did it mark their final show of last year, but it also fell on the birthday of guitarist Serge Pizzorno.

Kasabian are gaining recognition in the US and Canada after playing 13 shows this month with Oasis and Jet.

The track listing for "Live at Brixton" is as follows:

'I.D.'
'Cutt Off'
'Reason Is Treason'
'Running Battle'
'Processed Beats'
'55'
'Test Transmission'
'Butcher Blues'
'Night Workers'
'Pan Am Slit Scan'
'L.S.F (Lost Souls Forever)'
'U Boat'
'Ovary Stripe'
'Club Foot'
