'Nice Day' in Store for Bon Jovi Fans

Published: 2005-09-15
80s hair-metal band Bon Jovi is hitting the road this winter to promote its upcoming album.

The boys from New Jersey, who haven't toured since 2002, are heading out in November and ending the North American part of the jaunt in December in Toronto. They plan to tour worldwide in 2006.

Gaining popularity in the 1980s, Bon Jovi didn't find real success until the release of its smash hit album Slippery When Wet in 1986. It spawned mega singles like "Living on a Prayer" and "You Give Love a Bad Name."

The album Have a Nice Day, whose first single bears the same name, is coming out on September 20th. The band will celebrate its release by holding the first concert of the tour at New York City's new Nokia Theatre Times Square. But if you can't be in the Big Apple that day, you can also catch the show at theatres across the United States or on AOL music.

But if you prefer to wait until they're in Canada, you can check them out here:

December 14, Montreal, QC - Bell Centre
January 23, Toronto, ON - Air Canada Centre
