If you're in the mood for a little 80s electric pop, you'll be glad to hear veterans Depeche Mode are not only coming out with a new CD but will be heading this way on tour.
Seen originators of the synth-pop of two decades ago, the boys from Depeche Mode had huge hits with songs like "Just Can't Get Enough" and "Enjoy the Silence."
The members of the British band began to go their separate ways in the mid-90s with the departure of band member Alan Wilder and a stint in rehab for frontman Dave Gahan. They eventually reassembled, taking a pause in 2003 for Gahan and lead songwriter Martin Gore to pursue solo recordings.
The band now is back in one piece, releasing its new album, Playing the Angel, on October 17th.
But if you'd rather see Depeche Mode live, you can catch them on these dates this winter:
November 15, Vancouver, BC - BC Place
December 1, Toronto, ON - Air Canada Centre
December 4, Montreal, QC - Bell Centre
