European industrial metal group KMFDM will be taking their tour to Canada in the fall, with a few dates also given to our neighbours to the south.
The group's name meaning has been debated since their inception in the eighties, officially stands for "Kein Mehrheit F¸r Die Mitleid" which is German for "No Pity for the Majority" which fits with the bands anti-capitalistic bent.
The band broke up in 1999 and released Adios which was to be their final album but reformed in 2002 with only one original member.
They will be dropping their new album Hau Ruck on September 13. You can preview some of the bands new electro-metal tracks on their website (http://www.kmfdm.com/) including the songs "Mini, Mini, Mini" and the title track "Hau Ruck".
Their tour, which continues through most of the fall starts on September 21 in Seattle, WE and ends in Denver, CO on October 17 has a majority of dates right here in the great white north.
