Bethany Dillon Is an Imaginative Dreamer

Published: 2005-08-10
Just a teenager, Bethany Dillon has already reached heights many singers are still dreaming of in their thirties. Her second album is about to hit stores, and she'll be contributing the theme song to the motion picture Dreamer: Inspired by a True Story.

Dillon's song "Dreamer" will play over the closing credits of the movie, which stars Kurt Russell and Dakota Fanning. The film tells the tale of a horse trainer and his daughter who nurse an injured horse back to health. Dreamer will be in theatres on October 21st.

Fans will be able to hear the song "Dreamer" a lot sooner, though. The track is on Imagination, Dillon's sophomore effort, which drops on August 16th. The album is the follow-up to her successful 2004 self-titled debut, which features the hit single "All I Need."

"Dreamer" will be issued to radio stations in mid-September; look for a music video for the song around that time as well. The track list of Dillon's Imagination looks like this:

"Dreamer"
"Hallelujah"
"All that I Can Do"
"Airplane"
"I Believe in You"
"My Love Hasn't Grown Cold"
"New"
"The Way I See You"
"Vagabond"
"Be Near Me"
"Imagination"
